City of Sweetwater's Independence Day Parade

Join us for The City of Sweetwater's annual Independence Day Parade on Thursday July 4th at 6:00 p.m. in Sweetwater!  The parade will leave Sweetwater Walmart at 6:00 p.m. and travel North on Highway 11 through downtown.  Kids, be sure to bring your water guns and cool off with a water gun fight vs Sweetwater Fire Department.  A ceremony will take place at the gazebo in downtown immediately following the parade.  Local Marine Will Vineyard will serve as Parade Marshall & Speaker.  Be sure to visit the Sweetwater Train Car after the ceremony for a special American Heroes presentation by Mike Thornton, Colonel, U.S. Army, Retired.
